here’s what I have on me mind these days:
1- I want to fly high or have my wings cut off for a few days. Really, I’m just floating around like a dead leaf, too drained out to make some ripples. Need a change of routine, real quick. Make me a winner or gimme a break.
2- I condemn all terrorism, whether done by the US, the Taliban, the racist political groups in Karachi or normal men against normal women.
3- I dislike all the illogical arguments expoliting emotions, people put up trying to defend the government’s stupid peace deals with the terrorists.
4- Karachi transport is totally fucked up and I’m one of the worst-hit, as it takes 2 hours (or more) to get to work. So, I lose 4 hours of my life every freaking day. It sucks when I get to work after such a fucked commute and It sucks worse when I get home after a night of work and then two hours of worse commute in the morning.
5- Summers have arrived early in Karachi and its hot as hell over here, something my overseas colleagues prolly don’t have any idea about and they prolly don’t care either.
6- Does anybody really care about what I write on this blog? Most of the time i’m unloading myself here and its not pretty.
7- I only have two things in life these days, work and the bit of football I get to watch on TV (and I get very little of that). I’m playing with my rubik’s cube and my football in free time (and u know there’s really little time for that). My ball control is getting slightly better and my only kick (in Taekwondo) that is relatively sharp enough now is the middle kick. So apart from work, those are the three things I want to work on (and maybe finding a mate and restarting some programming).
8- Do leave a comment if you feel like, it feels better to know someone notices my pathetic rants.

- A coach is someone who can give correction without causing resentment.
- Ability is a poor man’s wealth.
- Adversity is the state in which man mostly easily becomes acquainted with himself, being especially free of admirers then.
- Be more concerned with your character than your reputation, because your character is what you really are, while your reputation is merely what others think you are.
- Be prepared and be honest.
- Consider the rights of others before your own feelings, and the feelings of others before your own rights.
- Do not let what you cannot do interfere with what you can do.
- Don’t measure yourself by what you have accomplished, but by what you should have accomplished with your ability.
- Failure is not fatal, but failure to change might be.
- I’d rather have a lot of talent and a little experience than a lot of experience and a little talent.
- If you’re not making mistakes, then you’re not doing anything. I’m positive that a doer makes mistakes.
- It isn’t what you do, but how you do it.
- It’s the little details that are vital. Little things make big things happen.
- Never mistake activity for achievement.
- Success comes from knowing that you did your best to become the best that you are capable of becoming.
- The main ingredient of stardom is the rest of the team.
- The worst thing about new books is that they keep us from reading the old ones.
- You can’t let praise or criticism get to you. It’s a weakness to get caught up in either one.
- You can’t live a perfect day without doing something for someone who will never be able to repay you.
